Dining Areas: Form & Pattern

This elegant dining room in the McCamish’s Signal Mountain home offers the perfect formal retreat. Set just off the majestic entryway, and with arched columns framing the view into the living room, it feels both secluded and yet unified with the design of the rest of the home. The 24-foot ceilings in the living room and entryway come down to make the dining room feel more intimate – perfect for entertaining guests and enjoying family meals. A Persian rug centered under the long table creates a counterpoint for the French Toille wallpaper. Gilt embellishments in the chandelier and antique mirror over the sideboard add to the formality of the space. The 18th century-style furnishings complete the look with elegant echoes of time past.
